What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, yet powerful system of energy healing that works by a practitioner channeling energy from the universe through the hands.  Reiki (Ray-key) is usually defined as “universal life energy” and comes from the Japanese words “rei” meaning spirit and “ki” meaning energy. 

Reiki and Animals

Our animal friends intuitively understand the power of healing energy and usually respond well to Reiki.  Since animals appreciate being able to control the treatment, we offer Reiki to animals from a few feet away giving them the freedom to come and go as they wish. 

Reiki Treatments

In-Person Reiki Session

Offered at your home or a location where your pet will be comfortable.  Sessions can last from 30-60 minutes.

Distance Reiki Session

Distance healing sessions offer the same benefits as in-person sessions.  Sessions last for about 30 minutes and are offered when an in-person session is not possible. 

Reiki Masters

Ann and Alan Noyce became attuned to the level of Reiki Master in April 2005 with the intention of offering the gift of Reiki to our animal friends.  Ann has also studied with Kathleen Prasad, co-author of the book Animal Reiki: Using Energy to Heal the Animals in Your Life, and Founder and Director of Animal Reiki Source.

What is Raindrop Technique®?

Raindrop Technique® (RT) was developed by D. Gary Young, ND, founder of Young Living Essential Oils, in the 1980s combining his years of research on the healing properties of essential oils with an energy healing tradition practiced by the Lakota Indian Nation in South Dakota. 

RT combines the application of several therapeutic essential oils with non-invasive massage techniques on the feet/paws and spine to bring the body into structural and electrical alignment and to strengthen the immune system.  The essential oils are dropped gently like rain on the spine and then massaged lightly along the spine and back muscles.  Originally developed for application to humans, the technique has been adapted for application to dogs and horses.

Raindrop Therapy Treatments

Raindrop Therapy sessions for dogs and horses last about 45 to 60 minutes.  If you would like, Ann will be happy to teach you how to give Raindrop Therapy to your animal friends. Classes on Raindrop Therapy for dogs will also be offered.
